2020 Jarkko Scholarship Winners Announced!
Pink Jamboree
A big thank you to everyone who came out to participate in the second annual Pink Jamboree which is a collaboration between Seacoast United Field Hockey and the United Sports Foundation to provide an opportunity for fun field hockey games for our local community programs. Over 30 teams participated in games throughout the day. Proceeds from the event will be given to the United Sports Foundation and the American Cancer Society’s programs to promote breast cancer awareness.
Emma’s grant academy run
On October 19th, as part of the United Sports Foundation Sportsfest, 30 girls Development Academy came out to Epping to run just under three miles to commemorate the boys and girls Development Academy players raising money for Emma’s Grant - a scholarship program for DA players who are in financial need to help with the cost of traveling to DA showcase tournaments. Our winners! 1st- Avery Fitcher, 2nd- Callie Neils, 3rd- Lillie Balfour - Great Job!
slow pitch softball game
The final event of the Sportsfest on October 18th was a slow pitch softball game that was played by members and coaches of the Seacoast United Baseball Club. Each of the players donated money to play in the game and created fundraising pages to ask others to donate. Funds from this game will be given to Connor’s Climb - a non-profit organization dedicated to suicide prevention and awareness in our communities.
Jarkko Tuominen Golf Tournament a huge Success
On September 30, 2019 100 golfers came out to the Links at Outlook to remember Jarkko Tuominen who was a great friend to the Seacoast United founders but died tragically 14 years ago. Over $50,000 was raised for the United Sports Foundation programs and particularly the college scholarship created in Jarkko’s name. We thank all of the business sponsors and players who came out and enjoyed a beautiful fall day!

JUNE 2019 - The United Sports Foundation has awarded the annual Jarkko Tuominen College Scholarship to 14 deserving student-athletes.
